Hire an offshore paraplanner for your advice practice
We recruit full-time paraplanners in Sri Lanka and the Philippines who research strategies and products, model scenarios and draft Statements of Advice in your templates. They work only for your practice, in your advice software, and your adviser reviews and presents every piece of advice.
Quick answer
How much does an offshore paraplanner cost?
A full-time offshore paraplanner costs a monthly salary plus our fee. Salaries typically run A$1,200–2,000 a month in Sri Lanka and A$1,800–2,800 in the Philippines. Our fee is either $5,999 + GST once (then $0 or $350 a month) or $1,000 a month with no upfront fee. Experienced paraplanners who draft complex SOAs with little review sit at the top of each range.
What the role covers

Records of Advice and reviews
Prepare ROAs and annual review packs, and update client data before review meetings.

Compare super funds, platforms and investment options, and document why the recommended option suits the client.
Insurance research
Run life, TPD, trauma and income protection quotes and comparisons for your adviser to consider.
Modelling and projections
Build cash flow, contribution and retirement projections in your modelling tools.
Implementation paperwork
Prepare application forms, rollover requests and authority forms once advice is accepted.
How we screen

Every candidate has phone and video interviews with our recruiters and a skills assessment set for your role. For a paraplanner that covers:

- Product research: a fund or platform comparison with clear reasoning
- Understanding of the best interests duty and what needs adviser sign-off
- Hands-on skill in Xplan, Midwinter or AdviserLogic, and in Excel modelling

Paraplanner FAQ
Common questions

Does an offshore paraplanner give advice to my clients?
No. The paraplanner researches and drafts. Your licensed adviser reviews the work, takes responsibility for the advice and presents it to the client.
Will they use our templates and licensee requirements?
Yes. They draft in your SOA templates and follow your licensee's research and compliance requirements. Share your style guide and a few approved SOAs in the first week.
How do we protect client data?
Give access only to the systems and files the role needs, on accounts your practice owns. We cover security options, including managed IT, in your consultation.
How much does it cost in total?
Add the monthly salary to our fee. Ready for You is $5,999 + GST once, then $0 a month if you employ them or $350 a month if we employ them as Employer of Record. Managed for You is $1,000 a month on a 12-month commitment with no recruitment fee. IT options are extra and quoted with your role.
How many SOAs can one paraplanner prepare?
It depends on complexity and how complete your file notes are. Most practices start with simpler SOAs and reviews, then hand over more complex advice as the paraplanner learns your strategies.
