What does offshore staff cost each month? Invoicing explained

With Elephant Teams you get one invoice at the start of each month, payable by the 15th. What is on it depends on your plan. On SOR there is no monthly fee from us. On EOR the invoice covers your staff member’s wage plus our $350 fee. On Managed for You it covers the wage plus $1,000 per staff member.

One-off costs

Ready for You has a recruitment fee of $5,999 + GST, paid once. Managed for You has no recruitment fee because it is a 12-month commitment. IT equipment and setup, if you choose it, is quoted with your role.

Monthly costs by plan

• SOR: $0 a month from us. You pay your staff member directly.

• EOR: staff wage plus $350 + GST a month.

• Managed for You: staff wage plus $1,000 + GST a month, per staff member.

When you are invoiced

Invoices are issued at the start of each month for that month and are due by the 15th. Changes such as a pay rise or a new hire are agreed with you first and appear on the next invoice, so there are no mid-month surprises.

Security deposits

For larger hires on Managed for You, or where we run payroll for you, we may ask for a security deposit before your staff member starts. We tell you the amount up front.

Wages depend on the role and country. Each role page shows example profiles with typical wage bands, for example our bookkeeper and payroll specialist pages. Add our monthly fee for your plan to estimate the total.
